After several years of hearing about the annual, and much loved, Fly-in Pancake Breakfast at the Piseco Airport, I’ll finally be experiencing it for myself!
Sponsored by the Speculator Lions Club, event runs from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. I’ll be selling my books the whole time, with an added talk about the book and aviation at 10 a.m.

The Wilmington Historical Society presents another evening in its Summer Speaker Series. Author Aurora Pfaff will present images and stories from her book on the history of aviation in the Adirondacks.
Located at Twisted Raven, attendees are encouraged to arrive early or stay late to enjoy the restaurant’s offerings. Talk is free and open to the public.

We’re not launching rockets or even offering free plane rides (sorry!), but we are getting together to celebrate the release of Aviation in the Adirondacks! Join us at the Saranac Lake Free Library for books, catch up with friends and neighbors, and enjoy delicacies from Jamdots Baking Company!
