About Aurora Wheeler Pfaff
Aurora Wheeler Pfaff is a writer and editorial content manager based in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. A lifelong reader and devoted collector of books, Aurora graduated with a Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts from the Harvard Extension School, where she studied Victorian literature, in particular the works of George Eliot and the influence of science on 19th-century literature.
As a freelance writer, Aurora has been published in Adirondack Life, Majesty, LOCAL adk, New York
Archives, and Beyond Words Literary Magazine. In her writing, she seeks to combine personal essays with sense of place.
Her first book, the photo-rich Aviation in the Adirondacks, was published in June 2024, and she is currently at work on a memoir about her relationship with her grandmother, who helped raise her and for whom she cared for when her grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease.
